Lumpiang Shanghai Recipe
Lumpiang shanghai is served during meals and sometimes as an appetizer. This dish is a favorite among Filipino kids.

Ingredients:
- 1 kilo ground pork
- 1/2 kilo shrimp (head and shell removed, meat finely chopped)
- 2 medium-sized carrots (grated)
- 1 Knorr pork cube (ground)
- 1 shallot bulb (minced)
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp pepper
- 2 eggs
- lumpia wrappers
- vegetable oil (enough for frying)
Procedure:
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients (except lumpia wrapper and oil). Ingredients should be mixed thoroughly to ensure they are evenly distributed. You can add salt if you desire.
- Take a spoonful of the mixture and place in the center of the lumpia wrapper.
- Fold the wrapper in half, then fold on the sides. Roll upwards.
- To seal the wrapper, beat an egg in a small bowl. This will serve as a glue to seal the wrapper.
- Fry the lumpia rolls in a pan.
- Serve.
