Simple cooking is always the theme when I prepare meals at home. Because I have a lot of work to do, I cannot spend a lot of time preparing complicated dishes.

Typically, I only prepare fried dishes for breakfast. A fried eggplant soaked in egg is one healthy dish. This is what we Filipinos call "Tortang talong." Accompanied with a ripe mango and fresh orange juice, it's a perfect healthy breakfast!


This is my version of "Pinakbet." The pork is chopped into cubes, sauteed in garlic then boiled for 1 hour before mixing in the vegetables.



Sometimes, my husband takes me out for dinner dates. We especially enjoy going to Filipino restaurants. I always enjoy "Sisig" and "Bisaya express" at Boy Zugba.
